Fire Starter Communications Fire Starter Communications is currently developing a Barkindji Biosphere Reserve Education Program, which will focus on the development of a regional education program for primary and secondary school students that has the potential to be replicated nationally. Fire Starter Communications was established in order to promote environmental themes and messages to the wider Australian community, through the use of innovative communication strategies and actions, with particular emphasis on young people. The Sunraysia region is an extremely rich resource in terms of cultural and naturally significant sites that can be used as a hands-on classroom. We all need to rediscover our sense of place. This project is firmly rooted in the belief that without this sense of place no-one will ever truly take responsibility for the environment. The development phase of this project is due for completion in August 2003. For further information contact Fire Starter Communications. 1 2 next >> |
